BLOOMDALE — Genoa had four individual champions and four runners-up on Saturday en route to repeating its Northern Buckeye Conference wrestling tournament championship at Elmwood High School.

The Comets posted 161 points to top runner-up Ostego (138.5) and third-place Woodmore (117) for the team crown. Genoa also won the NBC’s overall championship, which factors in conference dual-match results.

Taking individual titles for the Comets were three-time NBC champion Max Reeder (20-2 season record), who won at 138 pounds, repeat conference champ Jay Nino (53-1) at 220, Tyler Baird (37-2) at 182, and Cody Buckner (33-1) at 285.

Winning his third NBC title was Woodmore’s Evan Ulinski (38-0) at 113 pounds.

Otsego had three champions — Trent Soto (35-3) at 132, Jordan Hendrix (31-8) at 160, and Zach Zuhlsdorf (32-12) at 195 — and Lake and Elmwood had two each.

Winning titles for Lake were Damon Keister (26-1) at 106 and Matt Church (17-10) at 120, and taking crowns for Elmwood were Dylan Hall (32-5) at 145 and Jake Wise (29-1) at 170.

Rossford’s C.J. Ball (24-3) won at 126 pounds and Eastwood’s Mitchell Davidson (28-8) at 152.
