Bedford boys lose in OT; Whiteford rolls

Ann Arbor Pioneer 65, Bedford 62

ANN ARBOR — Bedford let an eight-point lead with 55 seconds left slip away in regulation Friday night in a Southeastern Conference Red Division boys basketball game.

Pioneer's John Kunek hit a 3-pointer with 11 seconds to send the game to overtime.

Pioneer outscored Bedford 10-7 in the extra period.

Trey Wallace led Pioneer with 18 points and Kunek finished with 14.

Dylan Barr paced Bedford (8-6) with 18 points, Jeremiah Harris scored 14 and Adam Swisher had 12.

Whiteford 76, Britton-Deerfield 44

OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. — Whiteford led 23-8 after one quarter and ran away with a Tri-County Conference win.

Colin Lake poured in 31 points for the Bobcats (8-3) and Zach Perry added 12.

Devin Gruber led Britton-Deerfield with 14 points.
