A Division I district title softball game between Perrysburg and Springfield this evening was suspended by rain after one scoreless inning of play.

Umpires called the teams off the field at 5:13 p.m. as Springfield was due to come to bat in the top of the second inning. Following sustained rains, they officially suspended the game about 20 minutes later.

The Blue Devils and Yellow Jackets will pick up the game at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rolf Park in Maumee.

Fans who bought a ticket for tonight's game will be re-admitted with their same ticket tomorrow.
