Girls Basketball: Fighting Irish roll along; Northview, Bedford win

CENTRAL CATHOLIC 77, GENOA 31

Jaylen White scored 15 points, Dakari Parish-Baker added 12, and Grace Crawford and Jade Finfera both had 11 for the host Irish (15-2) in a girls basketball game Tuesday night.

Tatum Neumann led Genoa with 15 points.

Lily Sweeney scored 19 points and Anika Sweeney added 13 for host Northview.

The Generals were outscored 18-7 in the fourth.

TECUMSEH, Mich. — Caitlin Stieber scored nine points, and 10 different players scored for the balanced Mules (11-3) in their road win.

Abbie McDowell led Tecumseh (8-6) with 20 points.

SWANTON — Sidney Taylor finished with 17 points to lead the host Bulldogs.

Lauren Johnson led Maumee with 11 points.

HAMLER — Shae Pedroza scored 16 points, Taylor Strock 12, and Lexi Woods 11 for visiting Napoleon.

Faith Frania led the Patriots with 13 points. Katelyn Drewes added 10.

ELMORE — Abby Dornbusch scored 17 points and Logan Harris added 11 for the visiting Rockets (13-4).

Katie Brugger led Woodmore (8-9) with 11 points.

Bree Salendien scored a game-high 18 points to guide the Cougars (13-1) to a non-league victory.

Olivia Pollock had 15 points for the Warriors (5-12), and Sydney McCauley had 14.

HOLGATE — Bailey Plott scored 21 points to help the Cougars win.

Elizabeth Peck had 18 points for the Blackbirds, and Morgan Leppelmaier added 10 points.

NORTH BALTIMORE 53, HARDIN-NORTHERN 24

DOLA — Katelyn Weinandy was the only player in double figures, as she scored 20 points to lead the Tigers to victory.

Quinn Stewart-Evans led the Polar Bears with seven points.
