Genoa 52, Eastwood 32

GENOA — The Comets just continue to pull away from the pack in the Northern Buckeye Conference boys basketball standings.

Jake Plantz scored 20 points to lead the Comets on Friday night. Andrew Bench added 17 points for Genoa (12-3, 9-0 NBC), which leads the conference by 2½ games.

Taylor Haas led the Eagles (10-4, 7-3) with 10 points.

Bowsher 77, Woodward 61

Keegan Norman finished with 19 points, Markus Ray scored 15 points, Shawn Hoskins 12, and Lamar Skipper 11 for the visiting Rebels (8-9, 5-3 CL) in City League play.

Charles Robinson III led Woodward (3-15, 2-6) with 21. Jaymar Robinson added 17.

Scott 51, Waite 45

Bryce White scored 18 points and Anthony Morris added 16 for the visiting Bulldogs (2-15, 2-6 CL).

Dominique Booth led Waite (7-10, 2-6) with 13 points. Dewayne Wells added 12 points and Mark Randall 10.

St. John’s 53, Lima Senior 46

LIMA — Vincent Williams, Jr., led the Titans (13-3, 9-0 TRAC) with 15 points as they stayed unbeaten in Three Rivers Athletic Conference play.

Houston King added 13 points, and Jaedyn McKinstry had 11 points.

B.J. Miller and Jaleel King each had 14 points for the Spartans (9-9, 4-6).

Fremont Ross 45, Central Catholic 44

FREMONT — The Little Giants withstood a late rally when the Irish missed a potential game-winning shot at the buzzer.

Keyon Sewell scored 10 points to lead Fremont Ross (5-10, 2-8 TRAC).

Jonzell Norrils led the Irish (6-9, 2-6) with 17 points.

Findlay 70, Clay 31

FINDLAY — The Trojans hit 10 3-pointers in their win. Ryan Roth and Ryan Nunn each scored 19 points for Findlay (9-7, 4-5 TRAC), and Jacob Logsdon added 12 points.

Reese Wamer had 10 points for the host Eagles (6-12, 1-9).

Northview 66, Napoleon 50

Sam Clear scored 16 points, Alek West added 15, and Colton Snow 12 as Northview (14-2, 7-2 NLL) won in Northern Lakes League play in Sylvania.

Jarrett Gerdeman led Napoleon (2-14, 0-9) with 22 points; 15 of those points came at the foul line.

Bowling Green 64, Maumee 48

BOWLING GREEN — Elsasser scored 26 points and Bryce Hoehner added 10, all from the foul line, for the Bobcats (4-10, 4-5 NLL).

Ben Pacer led Maumee (3-13, 1-8) with 19 points.

Springfield 62, Perrysburg 59

Denzel Prince scored 17 points and Terrel Bryant added 16 to lead the host Blue Devils (5-11, 4-5 NLL). Cam Arce added 12 points.

The Yellow Jackets (8-8, 5-4) were led by Seth Morgan with 14 points, Ian Riddle with 13, and Ben Boros with 11.

Woodmore 53, Lake 49

ELMORE — Mitchell Miller scored 25 points and Drew Burner hit for 13 points as the Wildcats (12-3, 6-3 NBC) won a topsy-turvy game in Northern Buckeye Conference play.

Woodmore outscored the Flyers 20-6 during the third quarter, only to have Lake storm back late.

Ben Stowers scored 16 for Lake (6-11, 3-6). Luke Walsh added 15 points, and Ahmad Smith had 10 points.

Rossford 58, Fostoria 48

Peyton Sloan scored 21 points to lead the host Bulldogs (5-11, 3-6 NBC). Shamond Smith added 12 points and Zachary Perry 11.

Fostoria (3-13, 1-8) was led by Maalik Tucker, who scored 16 points, and Aneas Cousin, who scored 15.

Otsego 53, Elmwood 45

BLOOMDALE — Will Varner finished with 24 points, Austin Meier 17, and David Silva 10 for the visiting Knights (11-5, 6-4 NBC).

Matthew Cline led Elmwood (6-9, 2-7) with 15 points. Zach Weiss added 14.

Cardinal Stritch 65, Emmanuel Christian 31

Joey Holifield scored 18 points and Little Anderson added 15 for the visiting Cardinals (16-1, 10-0) in Toledo Area Athletic Conference play.

Gunnar Parmelee led Emmanuel Christian (5-10, 2-8) with eight points.

Monclova Christian 62, Danbury 56

Nick Kaufman had a game-best 24 points — followed closely by teammate Luke Metzger’s 21 points — to help the Thunder win a nonconference game.

Ian Kuzma and Saylor Evans led the visiting Lakers (4-10) with 18 points each.

Ottawa Hills 75, Northwood 38

Tommy Coil scored 17 points to lead the Green Bears (10-7, 7-4 TAAC) to a decisive win. James Silk added 14 points, John Knight 13, and Elliott Cummings 11.

Cameron Price scored 12 points to lead the Rangers (1-17, 1-11).

Maumee Valley 65, Toledo Christian 55

The host Hawks (14-3, 8-2 TAAC) use a big second half to pull away. Zeb Jackson led Maumee Valley with 16 points, Steve Coleman added 15, and Jaiden Woodley 12.

Delano Smith scored 17 for Toledo Christian (13-4, 8-3).

Evergreen 58, Delta 54

METAMORA — Josh Dowling scored 19 points and Chandler Lumbrezer scored 13 to lead the Vikings to a Northwest Ohio Athletic League win. Evergreen (9-8, 4-0 NWOAL) overcame a 45-39 third-quarter deficit.

Delta (5-10, 2-2) was led by Bowen Green, who finished with 18 points, and Elliott Schnieder, who added 11.

Archbold 59, Bryan 41

ARCHBOLD — Bryan Williams scored 18 points, Austin Wiemken had 17 points, and Kaiden Bedsole added 12 points as the Blue Streaks (13-3, 3-1 NWOAL) cruised to a home victory.

Evan Smith led the Golden Bears (6-10, 1-3) with 12.

Patrick Henry 45, Swanton 36

SWANTON — Kaiden McGraw scored 20 points and Xavier Wensink added 10 for the visiting Patriots (7-9, 2-2 NWOAL).

Randy Slink led Swanton (5-12, 0-4) with 13 points.

Wauseon 71, Liberty Center 43

WAUSEON — Levi Seiler and Austin Rotroff each scored 12 points as Wauseon (17-0, 4-0 NWOAL) won. Every Wauseon player in the book scored at least two points.

Jarrett Krugh hit seven 3-pointers for the Tigers (3-13, 0-4) and finished with 21 points.

Fayette 50, Edon 28

FAYETTE — Trey Keefer scored 18 points and Travis Wagner had 13 points to help the Eagles (10-7, 5-4 Buckeye Border Conference).

After leading by seven points at the half, Fayette outscored Edon 22-9 in the third.

Logan Bloir and Austin Kiess had eight points each for Edon (2-15, 1-9).

Stryker 54, Pettisville 44

PETTISVILLE — Stryker (11-5, 8-1 BBC) jumped out to a 20-9 lead through one quarter during its road win.

Graeme Jacoby led Pettisville (15-2, 9-1) with 13 points. Landon Roth added 11 in the loss.

Montpelier 59, North Central 47

PIONEER — Kolden Uribes scored 33 points, 15 coming from the 3-point arc, to lead the Locomotives (8-9, 5-5 BBC) to a road win.

Evan Friend added 13 points for the winners.

Jack Bailey led North Central (6-11, 3-6) with 12 points.

Antwerp 44, Holgate 33

HOLGATE — Luke Porewer and Jayvin Landers both scored 11 points to lead the Archers (7-7, 2-3) to a Green Meadows Conference win.

Holgate (1-17, 0-5) was led by Cody Sonnenberg, who scored 11 points.

Whiteford 82, Whitmore Lake 61

WHITMORE LAKE, Mich. — Cameron Iott scored 29 points and Jarred Fink added 21 to lead the Bobcats over the Trojans. Hunter Lake added 10 for the winners, who improved to 10-2.

The Trojans (6-6) were led by Bryan Pasciak, who scored 17 points, and Ryan Thoman, who added 14.
