Lake scores 38 for Whiteford

Whiteford 80, Britton-Deerfield 59

BRITTON, Mich. — Colin Lake poured in 38 points as Whiteford cruised Friday night in a Tri-County Conference boys basketball game.

Chris Sims added 16 points for the Bobcats (4-1).

Tristan Pizana led Britton-Deerfield (3-1) with 17 points.

Edison 41, Port Clinton 40

MILAN — Keegan Hall’s layup with 10 seconds left gave the Chargers the lead, and they held on when the Redskins’ shot at the buzzer missed.

Chris Laughlin led Edison (5-4, 2-3 Sandusky Bay Conference) with 13 points, and Robert Morton added 11.

Carter Rumball scored 15 points to lead Port Clinton (3-7, 1-6).

Fremont St. Joseph 57, North Baltimore 45

FREMONT — Fremont St. Joseph used a 23-17 fourth quarter edge to seal a win.

Hunter Harrison scored 15 points to pace the Streaks.

Jacob Frost tallied 13 for North Baltimore.



Fayette 57, Hilltop 45

FAYETTE — Kaela Seiler scored 21 points, Taylor Griffiths added 14 and Michaela Bates 12 for the Eagles in a Buckeye Border Conference girls basketball game.

Fayette outscored Hilltop 29-13 in the fourth quarter. The Eagles made 25 of 32 free throws.

LeAnn Joose led Hilltop with 10 points.
