Your May 3 article “Wet sand called key to pyramids; Method likely used to move heavy stones” described how ancient Egyptians built the pyramids, moving massive stones and statues across the desert using rudimentary sleds.

It’s fascinating that it has taken modern man more than 4,000 years to figure out their technological genius — especially when it seems they left behind a painting to show how they did it.
