Mercy health system to restructure leadership

Mercy, the local not-for-profit health system, announced Friday that it was changing its leadership structure in part because of the changes taking place in health care in the United States.

Dr. Imran Andrabi has assumed the role of chief operating officer of Mercy, the health system announced. Dr. Andrabi will retain his role as president and chief network integration officer.
“Imran’s ability to connect with individuals at all levels throughout the organization, as well as physicians throughout our community, is an essential asset and will continue to position Mercy for success well into the future,” said Andrea R. Price, Mercy's president and CEO.
Dr. Andrabi, who has been with the company for 22 years, will be responsible for the daily operations of Mercy, including its hospitals and physicians.
In addition, Thomas Arquilla has been named president and CEO of Mercy's Metro Toledo Division, and will also serve as president of Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, and senior vice president of business development.
Mr. Arquilla joined Mercy in 2011 and had been president of Mercy Medical Partners and senior vice president for business development and strategy.
Mercy is part of Cincinnati-based Catholic Health Partners.
