Findlay medical-billing firm to add 50 positions

FINDLAY — A medical bill collections company plans to add 50 jobs in Findlay, state officials said Monday.

IntelliHARTx LLC is expected by the state to generate $1.7 million in annual payroll from its new Findlay location. The company specializes in collecting bad debt and overdue payment from self-paying patients, working primarily with hospitals and large physician groups.

The Ohio Tax Credit Authority has approved a 45 percent, six-year jobs creation tax credit for the company.
