Notes: Devin Gardner is officially out for Michigan, and Shane Morris is officially in. Morris, a true freshman, replaces Gardner at quarterback and will earn his first collegiate start. Morris is 5 for 9 for 65 yards with one interception in four games this season, with the bulk of his playing time in relief of Gardner. … Michigan coach Brady Hoke reiterated that Gardner won’t be available because of turf toe, and dismissed the possibility that Gardner has a broken bone in his foot. Hoke also said that other than Gardner and kicker Brendan Gibbons, who did not travel to Arizona because of a family issue, Michigan’s entire roster will be available against Kansas State. … Michigan receiver Jeremy Gallon has 80 catches for 1,284 yards and is 47 yards shy of setting the single-season receiving record at Michigan.
