ANN ARBOR -- The student body president of the University of Michigan announced that he is assembling a task force to investigate the expulsion of a former University of Michigan kicker and to investigate the school's Office of Student Conflict Resolution and its implementation of the school's student sexual misconduct policy.

Mike Proppe, the UM student body president, signed the executive order Monday night. Gibbons was expelled last month for violating the school's student sexual misconduct policy, stemming from a 2009 incident.
