Hessman won't compete in Triple-A All-Star Game
7/14/2014Mud Hens third baseman Mike Hessman will not compete in Wednesday’s Triple-A All-Star Game or Monday’s Triple-A Home Run Derby.
Hessman suffered an infection on his left knee that kept him out of Toledo’s loss to Pawtucket Sunday.
At this point there is no word on the severity of the infection and if Hesssman will be available when the Hens return to action Thursday in a home contest against Louisville.
