Forte Music School to host Winter Student Showcase

  • Forte Music School hosts its bi-annual Winter Student Showcase this weekend. The school is the vision of Toledo area violinist Virgil Lupu and offers individual private lessons for vocalists and instrumentalists of all ages.

    The emphasis of the school is to “nurture discipline through the power of music. Students of all ages come here to learn, not just to learn about music, but to have a deeper understanding of themselves,” Lupu said.

    The free all-day event begins at 9 a.m. Saturday and will feature concerts every hour until 7 p.m. at Harvest Lane Alliance Church, 5132 Harvest Lane. For more information, call 419-471-2100 or email fortemusicandarts@gmail.com.
