Officials investigate potential security threat on Delta plane after safe landing in Denver from Detroit

DENVER — Officials say a Delta Air Lines plane on a flight from Detroit to Denver reported an unspecified potential security threat and taxied to a remote area after landing safely at Denver International Airport.

Airport spokeswoman Stacey Stegman said today that passengers on the flight were taken to another location by bus. Police are searching the plane, and it is unclear what, if anything, they have found.

Stegman had no other information about the potential threat or how it was reported.

The airport referred questions to the FBI. An FBI spokesman didn’t immediately respond to an email.
