Two Toledo residents have been arrested for trying to smuggle marijuana into the Lucas County Corrections Center.

According to a sheriff’s report, inmate Jeremy Stevenson, 34, is accused of conspiring with Selina Mack, 19, to mail the marijuana to the corrections center.

The pair are being charged with two counts of illegal conveyance of prohibited items into a detention facility, which is a felony of the third degree.

“We have zero tolerance for this type of activity taking place,” Sheriff John Tharp said in a prepared statement. “Myself and my staff are dedicated to making the Lucas County Corrections Center a safe place for inmates and staff.”
