BOWLING GREEN — Four Toledoans charged in the Aug. 18 abduction and robbery of a University of Toledo student from China were indicted this week by a Wood County grand jury on felony charges.

Brittany J. Long, 20, and her brother, Blake L. Long, 21, both of 5357 Florita Dr.; Hui Zhang, 23, of 1540 Penn Rd., and Nicholas H. Martinez, 19, of 1035 Park Lane each were indicted on charges of kidnapping and aggravated robbery.

They are accused of luring Kun Liu through an online chat room for a trip to Cedar Point. Instead, they allegedly took him to a vacant house in Bowling Green where they robbed him at knifepoint and attempted to secure ransom for him from his family in China. Police said Mr. Liu was returned to Toledo unharmed.

The four co-defendants are to be arraigned Oct. 1 before Wood County Common Pleas Judge Robert Pollex.
