Collision between car and semi involved northbound lanes over Maumee River

Toledo police and firefighters have responded to an injury accident on Interstate 75 over the Maumee River late today.

The collision, which was between a car and a semi, occurred about 9:40 p.m. near the Miami Street interchange in the highway's northbound lanes. The Toledo Fire and Rescue Division transported an injured person to a hospital after the accident.

Details of the accident and the severity of the injuries were not immediately known.
