TPD officer will become sergeant

A seven-year veteran of the Toledo Police Department will be promoted to sergeant today.

The promotion of Officer Robert Leiter is expected at 10 a.m. in police Chief Derrick Diggs’ office.

Officer Leiter was appointed to the department in March, 2006. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Toledo. His current assignment is in criminal investigations.
