A man was shot in the back of the leg Saturday night as he walked with two acquaintances along Magnolia Street near Huron Street in North Toledo, Toledo police said. The shooting was reported about 8:40 p.m.

Myshaun Mills, 19, was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. A hospital spokesman had no information about a patient by that name.

The wound, while serious, is not believed to be life-threatening, Sgt. William Wauford said. Two men in dark clothing were seen running away, but no one has been identified, and no one was in custody late Saturday.
