Crash on Anthony Wayne Trail involved wrong-way driver

A Friday night crash on the Anthony Wayne Trail near the Ohio Turnpike involved a wrong way driver, according to authorities.

Emergency medical personnel at the scene Friday night told the dispatcher that they had five patients, all with minor injuries.

Maumee police Sgt. Timothy Stratton said today he didn’t have details about the extent of any injuries or those involved, but said the crash involved a woman driving the wrong way on the Trail.
