Body removed from pond in Maumee
12/7/2013A body of a 33-year-old man has been recovered from a manmade pond near a Maumee apartment complex.
Staff from the Lucas County Coroner's Office removed the body from the scene at the Lake View Shores Apartment complex on Key Street, near the Ohio Turnpike.
The body is believed to be that of a man whose family reported him missing, police said in a statement.
Maumee police said the death remains under investigation and would not comment further.
