Toledo police get $90,775 in auction

A Toledo Police Department auction Saturday of forfeited or abandoned vehicles generated $90,775 in sales.

A 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup fetched $7,400 — the highest price among the 79 vehicles sold.

Officer Dalton Wilkinson said the auction was this year’s fourth. After expenses, the auction’s proceeds of about $85,000 will go into Toledo’s general fund. The auction had 210 registered bidders.
