I-280 crash ties up traffic in Lake Township

A crash on I-280 in Lake Township tied up traffic in the southbound lanes of the interstate today, authorities said.

There were no injuries, according to the township police.

Two vehicles crashed and slipped off the road just before 7 a.m. near State Rt. 795, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
