    A person was shot just before 8 p.m. today in the 1000 block of Colburn Street in South Toledo, authorities said.

    Paramedics were to take the victim to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. The person's name and condition were not reported.

    Toledo police were on the scene to investigate.
