Three people, including two Toledo police officers, were taken to hospitals Saturday after a two-vehicle collision at West Sylvania and Upton avenues.

Police said Officers Benjamin Woody and Joe Villanueva were westbound on Sylvania at 1:43 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Sharon Lindell, traveling north on Upton, drove through a flashing red light and struck the officers' patrol vehicle.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Officers Woody and Villanueva were taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. A hospital spokesman had no information about patients with those names. Ms. Lindell was taken to Toledo Hospital. She was in fair condition Saturday night.

Toledo police are investigating the crash.
