Man shot, drives self to hospital

After being shot “multiple times" Friday, Jeron Sutton of South Toledo drove himself to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, police said.

Mr. Sutton, whose age was not available, told police he was shot on Vance Street while sitting in his SUV. He arrived at the hospital at 11:30 a.m., police said.

Police said Mr. Sutton's injuries did not appear to be life-threatening; a hospital spokesman had no patient with that last name late Friday.
