Fulton Co. woman, 60, hurt in U.S. 20A crash

A Fulton County woman was hurt seriously Friday when the car she was driving went left of center on U.S. 20A near Fulton County Road 3 in Swan Creek Township and collided with a pickup.

Karen S. Wilson, 60, was transported to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital, the Ohio Highway Patrol reported. A hospital spokesman said late Friday there was no patient there by that name.

Ms. Wilson of Delta was driving west on U.S. 20A at 6:16 p.m. when her vehicle went left of the center line and collided with an eastbound pickup driven by Mitchell S. Cousino, 37, also of Delta.

Mr. Cousino suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, troopers said.

The crash remains under investigation; alcohol is not believed to be a factor.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts, the report states.
