1 person dies in 2-car collision in Monroe
1/26/2014MONROE — One person was killed in a two-car crash Sunday in Monroe.
The crash occurred around 2 a.m. near East Grove and North Monroe streets, when a vehicle driving west on East Grove Street struck a car and continued westbound before it came to a stop at a curb on North Monroe Street, police said.
Police have not released the name of the person killed in the incident.
Their initial investigation indicates a medical issue may have contributed to the collision. The driver of the car that was struck was not injured.
