BOWLING GREEN — A Gibsonburg, Ohio man was killed and two people were injured in a two-car crash Saturday near Bowling Green, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

David Kaseman, 58, who was driving one of the cars, was pronounced dead at Wood County Hospital, according to the patrol’s Bowling Green post.

The driver of the other vehicle, William Beard, Jr., 74, of Pemberville and his wife, Judy Beard, 73, were taken to Wood County Hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, according to the patrol.

Their conditions were not released.

Mr. Kaseman’s car went left of center and struck the other vehicle head-on about 10:25 a.m. while westbound on State Rt. 105 near South Dunbridge Road, east of the I-75 interchange, troopers said.

All of the people involved were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not an apparent factor, troopers said.

Both vehicles sustained “heavy and disabling” damage, according to the patrol. The crash remained under investigation.
