Pedestrian struck by vehicle in West Toledo

A pedestrian was taken to Toledo Hospital late tonight after being struck by a vehicle that drove away from the scene, authorities said.

The crash was reported about 9:20 p.m. at Alexis Road and Rambo Lane. A description of the vehicle was not available. The person was taken by Life Squad to the hospital, but a name and condition were not released. 

Toledo police are investigating.
