LAMBERTVILLE -- The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man suspected of robbing Education Plus Credit Union.

The suspect entered the credit union branch at 3558 Sterns Road in Lambertville around 3:30 p.m. today and demanded money from tellers while pointing a black, semi-automatic pistol at them.

The man left with cash in what the sheriff’s office believes was a dark-colored vehicle, described as similar to a Chevrolet Malibu or Impala.

The suspect was described as a white man in his mid-to-late 20s, about six foot tall or slightly shorter, with blond hair, some facial hair, and a medium build. He wore a black baseball hat, a black coat, and put the money in a duffle bag.

Authorities did not release how much money was stolen.

Those with information can contact the sheriff’s office at 734-240-7700.
