Convenience store in North Toledo robbed

A North Toledo convenience store was robbed early today, police said.

A man walked into 7-Eleven, 3151 Lagrange St., at 5:18 a.m. and demanded that the store clerk open the cash register.

The clerk complied, the suspect grabbed the cash, and then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as black, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing an all-black ensemble: Carhartt jacket, hat, pants, and used a black rag to cover his face.

No weapon was seen.
