Toledo police are asking for the public’s help in solving two recent homicides.

The body of Brandi Gonyer-Boaston, 28, of Springfield Township was found Feb. 15 in a running vehicle parked in a Fulton County field.

Hunters found the mother of six inside the vehicle, which was parked on County Road N between County Road 8 and State Rt. 109 in Royalton Township near Delta, Ohio. Ms. Gonyer-Boaston died of asphyxiation, according to an autopsy performed by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office.

Toledo police are helping Fulton County because it’s not known where she was killed, said Toledo Sgt. Joe Heffernan.

Police would also like help in finding who is responsible for killing Lamar Booker, 23, of Toledo, who was found shot in the parking lot of Club Status, 3122 Airport Hwy., at 3:50 a.m. Feb. 16. He was shot in the chest after a fight broke out at the bar, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program.
