Bandit with knife robs sweets shop
3/15/2014A West Toledo ice cream and doughnut shop was robbed Thursday by a man armed with a steak knife.
The man went into Sparky’s, 1357 W. Sylvania Ave., at 9:20 a.m., police said, and demanded cash from an employee who complied. The robber then fled on foot with more than $100 .
The robber is described as white, in his 20s, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighing about 160 pounds. He wore a mask, police said.
