Warrant issued for suspect in Charter One robbery
3/30/2014Toledo police sought a 24-year-old man Saturday evening who is suspected of robbing a South Toledo bank branch.
A warrant was obtained for the arrest of Ryan Shumaker, accusing him of aggravated robbery in connection with the 12:25 p.m. holdup at Charter One Bank, 1501 S. Detroit Ave.
According to police, a male robber who had been dropped off from a vehicle handed a teller a note demanding money, then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The vehicle involved was later located, which led investigators to the suspect's identity.
No address was listed for the suspect. No injuries were reported.
