A Toledo police dog helped officers find more than 100 pounds of marijuana inside an East Toledo garage Wednesday.

Officers were in an alley behind the 1300 block of Oak Street at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday when the dog, Luke, started barking and alerted his handler, Officer Don Comes, to the unattached garage at 1357 Oak.

Inside the garage, police found 111 pounds of harvested marijuana, worth an estimated $177,600, and several lights that officers believe were used in the grow operation.

No charges had been filed as of Wednesday night.
