Police investigate 2 shootings in city
5/3/2014Toledo police investigated shootings Friday that wounded two people. The victims’ names and conditions were not released.
About 4:20 p.m., police and paramedics responded to a report of a person shot in a vehicle at Bancroft Street and Lawrence Avenue.The shooting likely took place elsewhere, authorities said. The victim was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Police detained two people for questioning.
About 8:20 p.m., a person with a gunshot wound walked into St. Vincent for treatment. Police have not said where the person was shot or under what circumstances.
