Findlay man arrested on aggravated assault charge after 2 people cut with a knife

FINDLAY -- A Findlay man was arrested today on an aggravated assault charge after two people had been cut with a knife.

Dustin Lanagan, 33, of Findlay was arrested after Findlay police received a report that someone had been cut.

Police responded to Mr. Lanagan’s residence on Blaine Street in Findlay around 1:30 a.m. and found that two people had been cut. The names of the victims were not released. One person was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital and was treated and released. Police did not specify the extent of the other victim’s injuries.

Police arrested Mr. Lanagan, who was allegedly hiding in a tree in a nearby wooded area. He is being held at the Hancock County Justice Center.

The incident remains under investigation.
