Arrest warrants issued for pair in series of home invasions

MONROE — Two people who officials believe are connected to a series of home invasions in Monroe County are on the run.

Wanted by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office are Jayson Michael Lewis, 28, and Moira A. Lewis, 30. Arrest warrants for home invasion have been issued.

Investigators said the two were named as suspects on Thursday. Thursday evening officials believe they were in the Columbus area but might now be driving to Covington, La., where they have family members.

They are believed to be in a dark-green Dodge Caravan, with Ohio license plate FLN1571. The vehicle is missing its rear bumper, has damage to a rear door, and is leaking oil, according to the sheriff's office.
