ADRIAN — Arrest warrants were issued Friday after a shooting that injured two people near a city park, police said.

The three-count felonious assault warrant names Jacob Christopher Edmond. Police did not release his age or where he lives. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous and advised anyone who spots him to call 911.

Adrian police said that officers responded about 6:35 p.m. Thursday to a report of shots fired in the 700 block of Erie Street near Parish Park and found two victims.

One victim had a gunshot wound to his left arm, and the other had a wound on the back of his head, which did not appear to be caused by a gunshot, police said. The gunshot victim was transported to ProMedica Bixby Hospital and later to ProMedica Toledo Hospital. The victim with the head injury was taken to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Police said Friday that one of the victims was in critical condition and the other one in “stable” condition. Their names were not released.
