SANDUSKY — Seven people were shot early Sunday at a Sandusky party hall, with none of the shooting injuries expected to be life threatening, authorities said.

Police said a severely beaten man was flown to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. His condition wasn’t immediately known. Police had made no arrests and said there may have been multiple shooters.

Police said the beaten man and two of those shot were found in the parking lot of Geno’s on Cleveland Road, and the other five showed up later at a hospital saying they had been shot at the party hall.

Police said they couldn’t say whether the altercation, which occurred about 4 a.m., was gang-related. The names of the victims were unavailable.
