A Toledo woman remains in the Lucas County jail today after biting a Toledo police officer and spitting on another.

Bond for Christina Scicere, 29, of 2572 Briar Ln., was set at $50,000. For the alleged assaults on the officers, which happened in the booking area of the jail, she was charged with assault and harassment by an inmate.

Ms. Scicere was arrested at Granite and Wool Cut lanes at 12:30 a.m. today when officers were dispatched there for a “suspicious person” complaint. Officers report that Ms. Scicere matched the suspect description and attempted to stop her. She continued to walk away from the officers, although she was eventually caught and arrested. For that, she was charged with obstructing official business, resisting arrest — for pulling her hands apart while officers tried to cuff her — and disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

At the jail, the suspect allegedly bit Officer Daniel Revill through his uniform, breaking the skin, according to court records. She also allegedly spit on Officer Jeffrey Scott‘s face.
