Pedestrian struck, killed by train in Springfield Twp.

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a train late today in Springfield Township, authorities said.

Lucas County sheriff‘s deputies are investigating. Troopers at the Toledo post of the Ohio Highway Patrol were called to the scene off Albon Road about 7:25 p.m. to assist.

The person’s name was not immediately released.
