Police still seeking information on September shooting death
5/24/2014Toledo police still hope someone can help them find those responsible for a man’s fatal shooting outside of a North Toledo apartment building on Sept. 24.
Andrew J. Anderson, 31, was shot seven times outside of 1520 Elm St., an autopsy revealed. A neighbor who saw the victim lying on a sidewalk after hearing gunshots called 911 at 1:23 p.m. The victim died at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.
A witness told police a black man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and red T-shirt fled the scene after the shots were fired.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stopper. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward.
