WAUSEON — The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several break-ins that were reported from area garages and sheds during the last two weeks.

In a news release his office issued this week, Sheriff Roy Miller advised county residents to lock their “out-buildings,” mark their tools and equipment, and write down equipment models and serial numbers.

Other tips include making sure that all the lights work, watching the entries “that face away from your residence,” and using deer cameras to catch intruders’ images.

In addition, the sheriff encouraged residents to report any suspicious activity or people.

The sheriff’s office did not specify the areas where the break-ins occurred.
