Paulding County Sheriff's Office able to take 911 calls again

Problems with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office 911 system have been corrected.

The sheriff‘‍s office was not receiving any 911 calls and the calls were not rolling over to a neighboring county as they should in such a situation.

The problem was discovered about 6 p.m. Saturday. The sheriff’s office issued a news release at 7:30 a.m. indicating the problem had been resolved in cooperation with phone company Windstream Communications.
