Police seek clues in 2013 double shooting

Toledo police are hoping that someone can help them find those responsible for an incident in which two men were shot outside a South Toledo bar a year ago.

The shooting at South Toledo’s Rocket Bar, 135 S. Byrne Rd., was reported at 1:53 a.m. July 15, 2013, according to police.

Police identified Damon Mays, who was 30 at the time, and Eliujuan Green, who was 26, both of North Toledo, as the victims. They later recovered.

Whatever prompted the shooting apparently started in a parking lot outside the bar, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Stopper program. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward.
