TIFFIN – A local man pleaded guilty today to reckless homicide with a firearm specification for the Feb. 1. 2013, shooting death of a Tiffin man.

Damien Magers, 22, was then sentenced to three years in prison by Seneca County Common Pleas Judge Michael Kelbley.

The charge stemmed from the death of Thomas Nally, 24, who was shot once in the head at a friend’s house on 4th Avenue. Seneca County Prosecutor Derek DeVine said Magers was intoxicated and mishandling a gun at the time.
