A Bowling Green State University student is missing after attending a concert in Cleveland, according to Cleveland police.

Cory Gene Barron, 22, of Fremont was last seen about 9:30 p.m. Friday at Progressive Field, a missing-person report filed Saturday said. Country music singer Jason Aldean was performing that night at the Cleveland Indians’ home stadium.

An unidentified body was found Monday in a creek on the city’s East Side, several miles away from Progressive Field, police said.

Police said they were not ruling out that the body could be Mr. Barron’s, but were not as of Monday afternoon connecting the two, a spokesman said.

Mr. Barron is a senior at BGSU, majoring in communications, according to a university spokesman. Mr. Barron is 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 210 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
