Motorist killed in fiery Erie Twp. crash
7/24/2014TEMPERANCE -- One person was killed late Wednesday night after their vehicle crashed on Benore Road in Erie Township, according to Monroe County Sheriff‘s deputies.
The victim has not been identified; they were pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies reported that the victim was driving a teal Chevrolet Cavalier westbound on Benore, east of South Dixie Highway, just after 11 p.m., when the victim‘s vehicle went off the roadway and into a ditch where it hit a cement culvert. The car landed on its roof and caught fire.
